Dry extract from the above-ground part of the plant Cichorium intybus (Chicory). It contains at least 8% flavonoids determined as apigenin, 10% coumarins determined as esculin and at least 5% tannin compounds determined as tannin. In addition, it contains a number of other biologically active substances – coumarin, glycosides, cichoriin and esculletin, and others. The effects of these substances are related to the activity and protection of the liver, the activity and condition of the gallbladder, the promotion of digestion and appetite. The liver can be damaged by chemicals, antibiotics, excessive consumption of junk food, alcohol or drugs, or various infections. The effects of the substances contained in chicory are related to aid in damage from all these areas. It is also related to the normal functioning of the gallbladder and kidneys. The product is suitable for all individuals focused on:
